Create your account

Less than 1 minute

1. 1.Go to the sign-up page and enter your email address and password.
2. 2.Check your email inbox (including the spam folder) and click the verification link. The link expires after 24 hours.
3. 3.After verification, open your profile settings and add your XRP wallet address. Check the address carefully before saving. It cannot be changed later.
4. 4.Once your wallet address is saved, go to the dashboard and start creating payment requests.

Get an XRP wallet

2 to 5 minutes

You have two options. Both work with DropPay. Choose the one that fits your situation.

Option A: Use an exchange wallet address

Simple and recommended for most users. If you already have an account on a supported exchange, copy your XRP deposit address and use it directly in DropPay.

1. 1.Log in to your exchange account.
2. 2.Go to the Deposit section and search for XRP.
3. 3.Copy the deposit address. If a Destination Tag is shown, note that as well.

Option B: Use the Xaman wallet

Xaman is a self-custody wallet. It gives you full control of your funds and is recommended for merchants. You can send XRP from Xaman to an exchange whenever you want to convert to local currency.

1. 1.Download the Xaman app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. 2.Create a new account. Write down your seed phrase and store it somewhere safe. Do not take a screenshot.
3. 3.Copy your wallet address. It starts with the letter "r".

Supported exchanges

Send your first payment request

Less than 1 minute

1. 1.Log in to your dashboard and click New Payment Request.
2. 2.Enter the amount (in USD or XRP), a short description, and optionally the customer's email address for an automatic receipt.
3. 3.Click generate. You will get a shareable link and a QR code.
4. 4.Share the link or QR code with your customer via email, chat, or your website.
5. 5.When the customer pays, you receive a notification by email and in your dashboard. XRP settles in 3 to 5 seconds.

Convert XRP to local currency

5 to 10 minutes

After receiving XRP, you can sell it for local currency through a supported exchange. The steps depend on which wallet type you use.

If you use an exchange wallet address

Payments go directly to your exchange account. Open the exchange app and sell the XRP for your local currency.

If you use the Xaman wallet

1. 1.Open Xaman and send the XRP to your exchange deposit address.
2. 2.Once it arrives in your exchange account, sell it for your local currency.

How customers make payments

30 seconds for the customer

When a customer opens your payment link, they see the amount in both USD and XRP, your wallet address, a QR code, and step-by-step payment instructions.

Paying from an exchange app

1. 1.Open the exchange app and go to the Send or Withdraw section.
2. 2.Select XRP, paste the wallet address, and enter the exact amount shown on the payment page.
3. 3.If a Destination Tag is shown, enter it as well.
4. 4.Review and confirm the transaction.

Paying with the Xaman app

1. 1.Open the Xaman app and scan the QR code on the payment page.
2. 2.The app fills in the wallet address and amount automatically.
3. 3.Review and confirm.

What happens after payment

• The payment confirms in 3 to 5 seconds.
• You receive a notification by email and in your dashboard immediately.
• If you added the customer's email address, they receive a receipt automatically.
